We will be continuing our fundraising collaborative with Branch Street Coffee Roasters in Boardman. When you stop in and order a cup of Guatemala coffee $.25 will be donated, and $1 from bagged Guatemala coffee beans. The Moliterno Insurance agency will then match dollar for dollar in donation from Branch Street.

We will also be giving out free coffee vouchers when you refer* a friend, family, or neighbor to our agency. If you have not previously received a quote from our agency you can be eligible just by requesting a quote for yourself.

• 36 people suffer injuries as a result of home fires every day
• Over $7 billion in property damage occurs every year

Are you prepared for a house fire? 

A survey conducted for the Red Cross, shows that people mistakenly believe they have more time than they really do to escape a burning home. Fire experts agree that people may have as little as two minutes to escape a burning home before it’s too late to get out.

• Most Americans (62 percent) mistakenly believe they have at least five minutes to escape, more than twice the amount they actually have.
• Nearly 18 percent mistakenly believe they have ten minutes or more to get out.

Across the country, the Red Cross is partnering with local fire departments and community groups to install smoke alarms in neighborhoods with high numbers of home fires. The goal is to reduce deaths and injuries from home fires by as much as 25 percent over the next five years.
